The highly-anticipated Sigma DP1 compact camera (pictured) hasn’t even started shipping yet, but that hasn’t stopped Sigma from unveiling plans for the SD2 and SD3 successors. In an article in last week’s UK-based Amateur Photographer magazine, Sigma’s founder Michihiro Yamaki revealed that not one but two new Sigma compact cameras will be unveiled by the end of 2008. No concrete details were revealed about the possible specification. Yamaki also said in the PMA interview that the SD15 DSLR camera will be shown at the Photokina trade show in September 2008, featuring the same image processor as the DP1.
DP1가 아직 출하도 되지 않은 상태인데, 시그마는 벌써 후속기인 DP2, DP3에 대한 계획을 발표했다고 합니다. 지난주 아마추어 포토그래퍼 매거진의 한 기사에 나온 이야기인 모양인데요, 2008년 말에 1대도 아닌 2대의 새로운 컴팩트 카메라를 내놓을 것이라고 밝혔다고 합니다. 물론 아직 상세한 사양에 대해서는 언급하지 않은 모양입니다. 또 이 야마키라는 사람은 DP1과 동일한 이미지 프로세서를 장착한 SD15를 2008년 9월에 있을 포토키나에서 보여줄 것이라고 PMA 인터뷰에서 말했다고 합니다.
