2세대 카메라라고 부르고 있군요. 굉장히 가볍고 얇은 제품이라고 합니다. 1천만 화소 제품이고 새로 설계된 37~111mm 영역의 3배 광학 줌 카메라랍니다. 사진에 대한 표현력이 좋다는 말도 보이네요. 세계 최고의 슈나이더 렌즈를 사용해서 색수차와 왜곡을 완전히 억제한다고 하는군요. 이미지 프로세싱 엔진은 Dream Engine이고, 2.5" 23만 화소의 많이(High) 선명한(Clarity) 인공지능적(Intelligent) TFT LCD를 채용했답니다.
With Samsung NV40 it is possible to take pictures in dark places without shakiness. 흔들림 없이 어두운 곳에서 사진을 찍을 수 있다는데요, 광학 손떨림 보정(OIS) 채용한데다 삼성만의 디지털 손떨림 보정(DIS)를 함께 채용했다고 합니다. 얼굴 인식 기능 뿐만 아니라 자동 대비 균형(이렇게 쓰니까 어색합니다... Auto Contrast Balance)을 넣었다는데, 결국은 감마 조정이나 퍼펙트 터치 등의 기술에 대응하는 것으로 보이네요.
The NV40 camera incorporates an auto macro and micro modifying function which avoids the need to switch to micro-shooting when in macro mode. 그리고 자동 접사 기능이 있다고 하는데, 어떤 식으로 전환이 이루어지는 것인지 모르겠네요. 아마도 최근 유행(?)하는 자동 씬 모드와 같은 방식 아닐까 싶습니다. 최단 촬영 거리는, 광각에서 5cm, 망원에서 50cm입니다. 크기랑 무게는 원문 그대로입니다. ^^
