With CES 2010 just a few days away, Samsung announces the NX10 interchangeable lens camera. As promised, the compact NX10 is armed with a large 14.6 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor along with a 3.0 inch AMOLED monitor, pop-up flash, and an electronic viewfinder.

어쨌거나 1월 7일부터 열리는 CES 2010 전시회에 삼성 NX10이 발표된다는 거고요, 1460만 화소의 APS-C 크기의 cMOS 센서이고, 후면 디스플레이는 AMOLED 3.0"이고, 팝업 플래시에 EVF 장착이라는군요.

Standing toe-to-toe with the competition, Samsung has included 720p HD video capture capability in the NX10. It will record HD videos in H.264 codec.

동영상은 조금 아쉬운 720p HD라고 합니다. 뭐 인코딩은 그래도 H.264네요.

Proprietary mount, K-mount adapter
독립 마운트 + K 마운트 어댑터

The Samsung NX10 will sport a proprietary NX mount - however, they will be releasing a K-mount adapter for the NX system. Samsung will make an 18-55mm OIS, 50-200mm OIS, and a 30mm pancake lens available with the launch of the NX10. Also among the list of specs, Samsung notes the implementation of a new DRIMe II Pro processor and a fast contrast AF system.

NX10은 독립 마운트지만 K 마운트 어댑터도 발표된다고 합니다. 18-55mm 렌즈와 50-200mm 렌즈는 손떨림 방지를 내장하고요, 30mm 펜케잌 렌즈는 OIS가 안 달려 있나 봅니다. 파나소닉과 비슷하군요. 그리고 이미지 프로세서는 DRIMe II Pro라는 버전이군요. 새로운 프로세서이고요, 컨트라스트 AF도 빠르다고 합니다.

The 14.6 megapixel APS-C sized sensor is substantially bigger than those used by the Micro Four Thirds cameras released by Panasonic and Olympus in 2009. But like the MFT cameras, there's no mirror box at the heart of the NX10 and is therefore not a traditional DSLR. Instead, the NX10 will offer an electronic viewfinder in addition to the display as a means of framing images.

센서 크기가 마이크로 포서즈보다 크다는 건 새로운 일이 아니지요. 어쨌든 마이크로 포서즈처럼 미러를 제거했다는 점에서 전통적인 DSLR과는 차이가 있습니다. 문제는 EVF의 성능이겠네요.

Also notable is the use of a 3.0 inch AMOLED monitor, a technology that should make the display brighter and easier to use in direct sunlight. Compared to a traditional LCD, the AMOLED technology should consume less power and put up faster refresh times. The NX10 is equipped with a sensor to detect when the shooter is using the EVF, and will automatically put the display on standby when the camera is brought up to the user's face.

3.0" AMOLED는 명확히 NX10의 장점입니다. 두 말할 필요도 없지요. 아! 리프레시 타임도 더 빠르고 전력 소모도 적다네요. 그리고 EVF 사용 여부를 자동 감지한다는 이야기도 있네요. 이것도 파나소닉처럼 사용자가 눈을 대면 자동 전환되는 방식인 모양입니다.

As you might expect, the camera with the larger sensor is just slightly bigger than the MFT cameras:

크기 비교는 컴팩트형 마이크로 포서즈와만 비교가 되어 있네요. 각자 G1, GH1과의 크기 비교도 배호시면 어떨까 싶네요.

Based on the images released today, the NX10 doesn't appear to have undergone significant cosmetic changes since we first saw the mock-ups at PMA 2009. The control layout on the back panel is identical to the early model. The NX10 utilizes lens-shift optical image stabilization and an automatic dust reduction system.

외관 디자인은 목업 디자인과 별반 차이가 없고요, 뒷면 버튼 배치도 동일하답니다. 그리고 손떨림 보정은 렌즈 내장식에, 자동 먼지떨이 시스템도 갖추고 있군요.

가격과 구매 가능일은?

The Samsung NX10 is slated for availability in the spring of 2010. No word yet on pricing or lens kit configurations.

2010년 봄부터 판매한다고 하네요. 가격은 알려진 바가 없고요. 하지만 적어도 우리나라 기업이니 국내에서는 저렴하게 발표되지 않을까 예상해봅니다.
