I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Panasonic Lumix S1 pre-release and thought I'd test out some of the features everyone is dying to see!

Firstly, massive shoutout to Nikki Fox from Luxe Film House who is a sponsored Lumineer and got her hands on a camera pre-release and letting me take it for a couple days. We also shot a wedding completely on a set of them together!
What can I say about this camera. Wow.. This gives me the same feeling when I started shooting with the GH4. The features are more than i'm used to and just look at the image. The Lumix S1 not only gives you 4K Slow Motion but it does it at a reasonable file size (unlike canon). The IBIS is next level (which the xt3 doesn't have). And the colour is amazing (which is a big draw back I have for anything that isn't arri, red or canon).
The marketing teams have two slogans for this camera. "Fullframe without compromise" and "S1ck AF" and I can agree with them both. This full-frame camera is packed with everything you can ask for the you can tell how good the auto focus tracking is by watching this video. Brittany is tack sharp in every shot.
The IBIS is so steady - I was able to hand hold the 105mm lens and it looked like a tripod. There was no steady cam used in the making of this clip. Just handheld, walking and the camera doing it's thing.
