Medium Format Fuji :: “50MP Sensor & Available 2017!” – New Source
Hey all,
First a short Recap:
Our Top Trusted Japanese Source said it here: Fujifilm is already working on a Medium Format Camera. No doubt: it will come. But when? A new source said it could be “presented” at Photokina 2016 (late September).
And now the new Rumor:
A New Source (so take it with a grain of salt) said that the Medium Format Fuji…
will have a 50MP Medium Format Sony Sensor
will be available in 2017
My thoughts on this (not part of the rumor)
ad 1) Sounds a lot like the Pentax 645Z sensor
ad 2) So if the previous New Source Rumor is also correct (“presented at Photokina“), this means that Fuji could actually display a prototype at Photokina in September, and launch the final version in 2017
