Pros
•The only camera that can shoot 12 fps with C-AF and 42MP of resolution
•In-body image stabilization allows for slower shutter speeds with all lenses
•DSLR ergonomics and respectable battery life
•Lovely 4K footage, with 4:2:2 output available to external recorder
•Improved buffer to handle increased resolution and burst speed
•Accurate AF-S performance with vast coverage
•Eye AF-C at 12 fps is magical
•Excellent JPEG NR, sharpening, and detail retention
Cons
•Frustratingly limited use of AF in video mode
•AF subject tracking cannot follow intended subjects reliably, which should've been the #1 benefit of SLT
•Overwhelming menus with a lack of a customizable page
•Slight lag to some of the controls
•AF system loses a large part of its performance when used with 3rd party lenses
•AF hesitates, and shows variability in performance depending on lens
•Sony JPEG color is displeasing
•Camera locks-out menus when clearing buffer
•Card slots not up to latest standard (should be UHS-II)
