파나소닉, S1의 비디오 업그레이드를 발표하다.
파나소닉이 2019년 7월 출시될 유료 소프트웨어 업그레이드를 막 발표했다. 전문적인 비디오 어플리케이션을 위한 훌륭한 몇 가지 기능 잠금을 해제하는 업그레이드이다. 이 선택적 유료 업데이트는 10비트 4:2:2 UHD 4K 24/30프레임을 내장 레코딩을 가능하게 하면서, 동시에 HDMI를 통해 4:2:2 10비트 UHD 4K 60프레임을 외장 레코딩할 수 있게 한다. 그리고 풀 V-Log 감마를 사용할 수 있게 된다.
파나소닉은 프로모션의 일환으로, 이미 S1을 구매하고 파나소닉에 정품등록을 마친 이들과 7월 3일까지 S1 또는 S1 키트를 구매한 이들에게 무상 업그레이드를 지원한다.

Panasonic Reveals Video Upgrade Plans for Lumix S1
Already packing some outstanding video specs for a full-frame mirrorless camera, Panasonic has just revealed a paid software upgrade coming in July 2019 that will unlock some desired features for professional video applications. This optional update adds the ability to record 10-bit 4:2:2 UHD 4K at 24 or 30 fps internally to a memory card, output 10-bit 4:2:2 UHD 4K at up to 60 fps over HDMI, and access the full V-Log gamma.

Panasonic is also launching this upgrade as part of a promotion that provides the upgrade free to individuals who already purchased the S1 and have registered it with Panasonic, as well as for anyone who buys an S1 or S1 kit, through July 31, 2019.
